Marrakech to Essaouira excursion
Your day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech will start at 08:30am right next-door of your accommodation. And heading along the Haouz farms to Chichaoua village. Where you will stop for a cup of coffee before you continue to Sidi Mokhtar. On your way, you will cross the Argan trees forest, where you might spot some goats climbing the trees.
You can visit a local women’s cooperative. And learn how some fine cosmetic products are locally made out of the rich Argan oil.
We will arrive in Essaouira around midday to have lunch. The recommended way is to buy fish and bring it to a restaurant to grill it.
After lunch, you will have time to dive into the old Medina. Out of experience, Exploring Essaouira is easy on your own: Locals are very friendly.
The Medina is small (compared to other old towns in Morocco). And its streets are in order. Our guide will be happy to go with you on a walk to show some hidden places.
Late in the afternoon, drive back to Marrakech. And your full day tour to Essaouira will end with a drop off at your hotel or the nearest car accessible point to your riad.
