DAY 1 : ARRIVE TO MARRAKECH TRANSFER TO YOUR RIAD :

On Day 1 of your Marrakech desert adventure. You’ll be warmly welcomed to the vibrant city upon your arrival at the airport. A designated driver will be waiting to pick you up whisk you away to your riad, nestled within the ancient Medina.

DAY 2 : MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING

On Day 2 of your Marrakech desert adventure. You’ll dive into the city’s rich tapestry of history and culture with a full day of sightseeing. After a delicious breakfast at your riad, then take a guided tour of Marrakech’s most iconic landmarks. Begin your exploration at the historic heart of the city, the UNESCO-listed medina. Wander through the labyrinthine alleyways, marveling at the intricate architecture, vibrant markets, and bustling squares. Discover the architectural wonders of the Bahia Palace and the stunning Saadian Tombs. Where the opulent mausoleums of past rulers stand as testaments to Marrakech’s storied past.

Continue then your journey to the vibrant Jardin Majorelle. A lush oasis of plants and vibrant colors. DAY 3 : MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – OUARZAZETTE – DADES VALLEY:

Your Moroccan journey takes you beyond Marrakech as you travel on an exhilarating excursion to explore the captivating landscapes of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Ouarzazate, and the Dades Valley.

After a hearty breakfast at your riad. You’ll then travel through the rugged terrain of the High Atlas Mountains., Passing through picturesque villages and dramatic mountain passes. Your first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A mesmerizing fortified village renowned for its stunning architecture and cinematic history.
Explore the labyrinthine alleys and ancient mud-brick buildings. Imagining tales of ancient caravans and legendary warriors that once traversed these historic streets. Continuing your journey, you’ll arrive in Ouarzazate. Where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Atlas Film Studios. One of the largest film studios in the world and the backdrop for many iconic movies and television shows.
After lunch in a local restaurant. Your adventure continues as you traverse the breathtaking landscapes of the Dades Valley. Known for its towering rock formations, lush oases, and picturesque kasbahs. Pause to admire the panoramic vistas and capture the beauty of the rugged terrain before settling into your accommodation for the night. Nestled amidst the stunning natural scenery of the Dades Valley. As the sun sets over the horizon, casting a golden glow over the landscape. You’ll savor a delicious dinner and reflect on the day’s unforgettable experiences, filled with awe-inspiring landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

DAY 4 : DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – SAHARA:

You’ll continue your journey from the Dades Valley to the dramatic Todra Gorges. And ultimately to the awe-inspiring Sahara Desert. After a delightful breakfast amidst the scenic beauty of the Dades Valley. Bid farewell to your accommodation and set out for Todra Gorges. A spectacular series of limestone river canyons carved by the Todra River. Marvel at the towering cliffs that rise dramatically from the valley floor. Casting intricate shadows as the sunlight dances across their surfaces. Take a leisurely stroll along the riverbed, immersing yourself in the natural beauty and tranquility of this breathtaking landscape. After exploring the Todra Gorges, continue then your journey towards the Sahara Desert, traversing vast expanses of desert terrain as you approach the golden dunes that stretch endlessly towards the horizon.
When you arrive in Merzouga you will have a camel ride to the desert camp. Cross the rolling dunes as the sun begins to set, casting a mesmerizing palette of colors onto the desert sky. Arrive at your desert camp just in time to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the Sahara sunset, a moment of unprecedented beauty that will leave you speechless.
As night falls, gather around the campfire to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars, accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of Berber music and the gentle murmur of the desert breeze. Then you retire to your comfortable tent for the night.

DAY 5 : ERG CHEBBI SAHARA SIGHTSEEING – CAMEL TREKKING :

After enjoying a delicious breakfast in the camp, your day of exploration begins with a visit to the village of Khamlia. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in their rich musical traditions and experience a glimpse of their unique lifestyle. Continuing then your journey, you’ll venture into the desert area to meet nomadic families living under traditional Berber tents, offering you a fascinating insight into their way of life. For lunch, you’ll be treated to a traditional Berber meal known as Berber pizza, shared with a local family, providing an authentic culinary experience. Alternatively, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the historic city of Rissani, once the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, Morocco’s ruling royal family.

Rissani’s ancient streets are lined with towering ksars and bustling souks, offering a glimpse into its vibrant past as a vital trading hub. After exploring Rissani, you’ll then return to the village of Merzouga. In the afternoon, you’ll take a camel ride guided by an experienced camel-man, traversing the towering sand dunes to uncover the hidden treasures of Morocco’s highest dunes. As the sun begins to set, you’ll reach the campsite, where you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking sight of the desert bathed in golden light. Enjoy dinner under the starlit sky, serenaded by the rhythmic beats of traditional Berber music played by locals. DAY 6 : MERZOUGA – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE:

On Day 6 of your Moroccan journey, you’ll bid farewell to the mesmerizing landscapes of Merzouga and travel through the picturesque Draa Valley en route to Ouarzazate. After breakfast at your desert camp in Merzouga, you’ll then set out on a journey through the stunning Draa Valley, known for its lush palm groves, verdant oases, and traditional Berber villages. As you wind your way along the scenic route, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the valley, with its rugged mountains, fertile valleys, and meandering riverbeds. Make stops along the way to explore ancient kasbahs, historic villages, and traditional Berber settlements, gaining insights into the rich cultural heritage of the region. DAY 7 : OUARZAZETTE – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINs – MARRAKECH:

On Day 7 of your 8 days Marrakech desert Adventure, you’ll back to Marrakech through the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Ultimately returning to the vibrant city of Marrakech.
After breakfast at your accommodation in Ouarzazate. Bid farewell to the captivating landscapes of the desert. Then begin your ascent into the rugged beauty of the High Atlas Mountains.
As you wind your way along the winding mountain roads. You’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. Lush valleys, and picturesque Berber villages perched precariously on the mountainsides. Make stops along the way to stretch your legs, snap photos of the stunning scenery. And mingle with locals at roadside cafes and markets. Keep an eye out for traditional Berber villages. Where you can catch a glimpse of daily life in the mountains and perhaps purchase handmade crafts or souvenirs to remember your journey.
