Embark on a 6-day trekking adventure through the Saghro Mountains, from Marrakech, a pre-Saharan range in southern Morocco known for its dramatic volcanic landscapes. This fascinating region lies between the Dades Valley and the Draa Oasis, marking the transition from the High Atlas to the desert.
The Jbel Saghro (2712m) is a volcanic massif of immense character — a land of plateaus, towering cliffs, deep gorges, and sharp pinnacles that resemble a lunar landscape. Amid these rock formations, you may encounter nomadic Aït Atta tribes with their herds and traditional Bedouin tents.
Under the warm southern light, you’ll trek through vast open spaces, oases, and valleys sculpted by wind and time — with the distant Sahara whispering on the horizon.
