Departing from Fes in the morning. Our excursion takes us through picturesque countryside dotted with olive groves, orchards and rolling hills. As you climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains. You will be captivated by the breathtaking views of the cedar forests, green valleys and snow-capped peaks that surround us.
Upon arrival in Azrou, you will then have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and cultural heritage of this idyllic town.
Known for its lush cedar forests and abundant wildlife, Azrou is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Take a leisurely stroll through the town’s charming streets, soak up the peaceful ambiance and admire the traditional Berber architecture.
One of the highlights of our day trip is a visit to the famous Azrou cedar forest. Home to a population of endangered Barbary macaques, or Barbary monkeys. As you stroll through the ancient cedar plantations.
You will have the opportunity to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. And marvel at the majestic beauty of the towering cedars.
After exploring the cedar forest, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Savoring authentic Moroccan cuisine in the tranquil setting of the Middle Atlas Mountains. As the afternoon progresses, you will have the opportunity to participate in optional activities such as hiking. Bird watching or simply relax and admire the serene beauty of Azrou.
As the day draws to a close, we will embark on the journey back to Fes. Reflecting on the memories we made and the beauty we encountered on our day trip to Azrou.
