Agadir – Taroudant – Taznakht – Ait ben haddou

Your adventure begins as you depart from Agadir, setting out on a journey through the captivating landscapes of Morocco. Your first destination is Taroudant, a picturesque town known for its ancient city walls and vibrant markets. Spend some time exploring the maze-like streets of the medina. Where you’ll find a treasure trove of handicrafts and local delicacies.

From there, continue your journey to Taznakht, a small Berber village renowned for its traditional carpet weaving. After a brief stop to admire the intricate craftsmanship, head towards Ait Ben Haddou. UNESCO World Heritage site and iconic desert fortress. Marvel at the ancient kasbahs and stunning desert scenery before settling in for the night.

Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades valley – Dades gorges

After a hearty breakfast, venture onwards to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Explore the famed Atlas Film Studios, where numerous Hollywood blockbusters have been filmed, before continuing to Skoura.

Home to lush palm groves and historic kasbahs. Your journey then takes you through the dramatic Dades Valley, where towering rock formations and verdant oases await.

Spend the night in the tranquil surroundings of the Dades Gorges. Where the sound of rushing water and the scent of blooming roses will lull you to sleep.

Boumalne – Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzouga

Today, your adventure continues as you journey towards Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Along the way, stop in Boumalne to admire the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise dramatically on either side.

Continue through the desert landscape to Tinghir and Erfoud, before finally reaching Merzouga. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to embark on a camel trek into the dunes of the Erg Chebbi. Where you can witness a spectacular desert sunset before spending the night under the stars in a traditional Berber camp.

Rissani – ZIz valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

Depart Merzouga and head towards Rissani, a historic town known for its bustling souks and ancient monuments. From there, journey through the scenic Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves and traditional Berber villages, before continuing to Midelt, nestled amidst the Atlas Mountains.

Your journey then takes you through the cedar forests of Azrou and the charming town of Ifrane, known as the “Alpine city” before arriving in the imperial city of Fes, where you’ll spend the night.

Fes
