3 days Berber Villages & Valleys Trek
From Marrakech
Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Tinzert
Depart from Marrakech and drive toward the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at Imi Oughlad (1450m), where you’ll meet your local Berber guide and muleteer.
Your first day is an easy acclimatization hike through the Ouirgane National Park, known for its gentle terrain, copper-green soil, and beautiful juniper forests.
You’ll spend the night in a Berber guesthouse in Tinzert, a small, rustic mountain village.
Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at Tinzert guesthouse.
Trek Duration: Approx. 4 hours of walking.
Tinzert – Azzaden Valley (Ait Aissa)
After breakfast, leave Tinzert and begin your trek toward the Azzaden Valley, one of the most beautiful in the High Atlas.
Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and lush walnut groves, leading toward the mighty Toubkal Massif and its twin peaks.
Spend the night in a local village guesthouse in Ait Aissa, surrounded by terraced fields and breathtaking scenery.
Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at Ait Aissa guesthouse.
Trek Duration: 5–6 hours of walking.
Ait Aissa – Tizi n’Mzik Pass – Imlil – Marrakech
On your final day, hike up through the upper reaches of the Azzaden Valley, passing through Tizi Oussem village before climbing toward the Tizi n’Mzik Pass (2489m).
From the top, enjoy a spectacular panoramic view before descending to Imlil for lunch.
After lunch, you’ll be transferred back to Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon — with plenty of time to explore the city’s lively evening atmosphere.
