ITINERARY
8 days Marrakech desert Adventure
Arrival in Marrakech – Transfer to Riad
On Day 1 of your Marrakech desert adventure. You’ll be warmly welcomed to the vibrant city upon your arrival at the airport. A designated driver will be waiting to pick you up whisk you away to your riad, nestled within the ancient Medina.
Accommodation: Riad, guesthouse, or hotel with breakfast.
Marrakech Sightseeing
On Day 2, explore Marrakech’s history and culture with a full day of sightseeing. After breakfast at your riad, join a guided tour of the city’s most famous landmarks.
Start in the historic medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the narrow streets and discover the beautiful architecture, colorful markets, and busy squares. Visit the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, where you can see the impressive burial sites of past rulers.
Next, explore the beautiful Jardin Majorelle, a peaceful garden full of exotic plants and bright colors. This garden was created by French artist Jacques Majorelle and later restored by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.
Experience the energy of Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you’ll find snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls offering local dishes. End your day with a relaxing walk near the Koutoubia Mosque and its calm gardens.
Return to your riad in the evening, full of memories from your day exploring Marrakech.

Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Your Moroccan adventure takes you from Marrakech to explore Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and the beautiful Dades Valley.
After breakfast at your riad, travel through the High Atlas Mountains, passing small villages and mountain roads. Your first stop is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient fortified village is famous for its beautiful buildings and has been featured in many films. Walk through the narrow streets and old clay buildings of this historic place. Next, visit Ouarzazate and the Atlas Film Studios, one of the world’s largest film studios where many famous movies were made.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Dades Valley. This area is known for its impressive rock formations, green oases, and traditional kasbahs. Stop to enjoy the views and take photos of the stunning landscape.
In the evening, arrive at your accommodation in the Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner while watching the sunset over the mountains and relaxing after a day full of amazing sights and culture.
Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Sahara Desert
After breakfast in the Dades Valley, continue your journey to the stunning Todra Gorges and then to the Sahara Desert.
First, visit the Todra Gorges, a beautiful canyon with tall limestone cliffs carved by the Todra River. Walk along the river and enjoy the natural beauty of this amazing place.
Next, travel across the desert towards Merzouga and the golden sand dunes of the Sahara. When you arrive, ride a camel into the desert as the sun begins to set. Watch the incredible sunset paint the sky with beautiful colors over the dunes.
Arrive at your desert camp and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. Listen to Berber music around the campfire and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the desert at night.
Sleep in a comfortable tent in the heart of the Sahara Desert.
Erg Chebbi Sahara Sightseeing – Camel Trekking
After breakfast at the camp, start your day with a visit to Khamlia village to experience their traditional music and culture. Next, meet nomadic families living in the desert under Berber tents and learn about their way of life.
Enjoy lunch with a local family and try traditional Berber pizza. You can also visit the historic city of Rissani, an ancient trading center and birthplace of Morocco’s royal family. Explore its old streets, traditional buildings, and busy markets.
Return to Merzouga in the afternoon for another camel ride across the tall sand dunes. Watch the sunset over the desert and arrive at the camp as the sky turns golden.
Enjoy dinner under the stars with traditional Berber music and experience the warm hospitality of the desert.

Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
After breakfast at your desert camp, leave Merzouga and travel through the beautiful Draa Valley to Ouarzazate.
Drive through the valley, known for its palm groves, green oases, and traditional Berber villages. Stop to explore ancient kasbahs, historic villages, and enjoy the mountain and valley views.
Have lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Continue to Ouarzazate, famous as a filming location for many movies and TV shows.
Visit Kasbah Taourirt, a large fortress that was once home to an important Moroccan family.
Accommodation: Hotel or Riad in Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast in Ouarzazate, begin your return journey to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains.
Travel along mountain roads with beautiful views of snow-capped peaks, green valleys, and Berber villages on the mountainsides. Stop along the way to take photos, visit roadside cafes, and explore traditional mountain villages where you can see local life and buy handmade crafts.
Arrive back in Marrakech and check into your riad or hotel in the Medina. Relax and reflect on your amazing desert adventure.

Transfer to airport
