3 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA

Day 01: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – ouarzazate Dades Gorge

This 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will start from the red city at 8 am. Our first day will take us out across the plains and into the highlands of Morocco. We will pass many Berber villages and rocky mountain ranges. We will make a short stop for a coffee break so you can get some great photos. After lunch, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait ben Haddou. This is the location of many famous movie scenes. Here, we will see the Kasbah which is very regal and the history is fascinating. We will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, the capital of the Sahara. There, we will visit the Cinema Studios and see how they create amazing movie sets. We will stay overnight in a hotel where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 02: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge- Camel Trek & night in the desert camp

After a nice breakfast, we stop to visit the unique Todra Gorge with its crazy rock formations. The gorge is located between the Atlas Mountains and the High Atlas Mountain range. It is about 30 km long and up to 100 m deep. The gorge is formed by a large fault in the mountains which is over 300 meters high. The fault is filled with water and the water flows down creating a beautiful waterfall. We stop in some prominent places to take pictures. Our journey continues south towards Erfoud and eventually to Merzouga where we go out on camel rides to enjoy the sunset and the desert landscape. At night, we sit around the fire and listen to music while enjoying a delicious meal. overnight desert camp.

Day 03: Merzouga – Tazzarine – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

The early sunrise is a magical time as it breaks over the golden dunes and brings the day. It’s a magical time as the sun chases away darkness and the colors change as it moves across a landscape of golden sand. For some, it’s a life-changing experience. You return by camel to the hotel for breakfast and freshen up. Our trip to Marrakech takes place across vast lunar landscapes, deserts, and villages with adobes kasbahs. From Merzouga to Tazzarine, across the Draa valley and the oasis town Agdz, famous for its dates. After the oases, we climb the mountains and take a break in Ouarzazate. We descend to the plains of Marrakesh. where our 3 days tour  from Marrakech to Merzouga ends up
